SOS Hermann Gmeiner School Gandaki, located at a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city at Pokhara-15, Rambazar, and run under its umbrella organization SOS Kinderdorf International, is a not-for-profit educational organization and has been imparting quality education to the children from SOS Children’s Village Gandaki and the children from socially and economically backward strata since 1982 AD.

So the student composition is multi-pronged ranging from children on scholarship, children from SOS Childre's Village Gandaki, children of staff to the children on fee paying basis. Being a social service not-for-profit organization, it has been continuously providing its services to the society imparting quality education on affordable fees.
